Viral Linking Done The Proper Way

If you want to work with viral linking, you have to try until something works. You can’t just expect a link to go viral because it’s a good one that leads to valuable content. While that all helps, what goes viral tends to be a little more random than that.
A bad idea is to use software or black hat methods that spread your link to a lot of places quickly. You don’t want Google to see that you are trying to cheat the system, only for your site to rise and then fall in the rankings. You have to get a link to spread naturally, which is what going viral will help with. When it’s obvious that the site is going viral and people are interacting with your link all over the world, you’ll get much better ranking results.
Make sure that the content ins interesting. Viral linking is not going to happen if you have plain information on a page that people can get anywhere. Your goal is for people to share the content that you are putting online, not to make them click away and not give it a second thought. Try to have text that is engaging but not too hard to digest in a quick amount of time and images that fit in with the story. If you can include something like an infographic illustrating what you’re talking about, that can help add to the usefulness of your page.
When should you use viral link building?
Anyone that tells you that it’s easy to go viral is not telling you the full truth. There are a lot of times where you can have everything in place to go viral, only for you to not see anything at all happening. So, don’t bank on just one thing going viral for you and try to set up a lot of different pages on your website for success. If you have more cards in the game in the form of web pages, you have a better chance at making at least one of them go viral.
See if you can talk to someone in your niche that is an authority through social media to ask them about sharing your website with their followers. You never know, a polite question you send to them may lead to them looking at and then sharing your link. If you do this with the right person, your site could go viral quickly and links will be put up all around the internet to your website. Of course, they could just say no but that’s okay if you just keep trying and working on building a name for yourself so eventually you’re an authority.
How to Naturally Build Viral Links
If you can become an authority in your niche, you can make links go viral without too much trouble. But, even if people trust you and click on links you send out to them, that doesn’t mean you can share trashy content that does nothing more but advertise to the reader. You have to share content that people would expect to see from an expert like you. For the most part people don’t like to just be advertised to so you have to find content that is useful to them that slips in a call to action near the end or somewhere else in the article that’s not too obvious.
Keep an eye on the news related to your niche. For instance, if you’re someone that’s running a football site and a big game is coming up, you should begin writing content about it so you can post it before other people start talking about it. If you can be one of the first authority sites online that gets linked to by news outlets and more then your site can shoot to the top of search results, resulting in even more people linking to your website.
A good idea is to try to work on building links that go viral on a regular basis. If you can show that you know what you’re doing, then your site has a much better chance at going viral again. There are a lot of ways to make sure your site does well, and the best way is to always add quality content to it that you know is going to at least inspire people or teach them something new. There’s a lot to writing a viral post, so be sure you stay on top of what you’re doing and you should do just fine.
When you do viral linking the right way, you’ll know it because you’ll see far more clicks. If you want to get visitors, it’s best not to bank on things going viral, but it is possible they will. Do what you can to share valuable content and if it’s good enough it will be shared.
